Ideal Solution:


An ideal solution is a mixture of two or more liquids that follows Raoult's Law.


Key characteristics:


1. No volume change: Mixing doesn't change the total volume.

2. No heat change: No heat is absorbed or released during mixing.

3. Similar interactions: Interactions between molecules are similar.


Examples:


1. Benzene and toluene

2. Hexane and heptane
